today I had a special gift from Canada.. the perfect and pure maple syrup ever! and my best way to taste it.. is on my homemade pancakes.. here is the recipe for the sweetest awakening ever..
whisk together: 3 egg yolks, 10g caster sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 140g warm milk, 115g self raising flour. In a side whisk 3 egg whites and when it starts to get fluffy add 15g caster sugar and keep whisking. mix 2 batters together by hand and cook in a pan about 7 pancakes (one by one, spread each time the batter with a spoon, bake it 15 seconds and turn it asap)
