Polenta

Today Paris is covered by snow, is the first time this year. I like this white silence. It reminds me vacations in mountains, which I love so much. Usually on the winter time in the mountains I use to eat polenta. Polenta with cheese, porcini mushrooms, salami.. but the base is always this hot, comfortable, healthy and good winter food.



Polenta is made with ground yellow or white cornmeal, which can be ground coarsely or finely depending on the region and the texture desired.Today, after 90 minutes cooking I eat it with fontina, the Italian cheese from Valle D’Aosta. So good!
